Hair Essentials For My Trip To Jamaica

Hey curly peeps!

It’s Monday – the beginning of the week- and the day before my departure to Jamaica. These are my final moments of packing and I am now starting to pack my toiletries. For most of my getaways or events I normally pack a heat styling tools since I used to prefer the straight look but in this case its going to be super hot and humid. Which is something I don’t mind at at since I’ve been a dedicated curly girl from April, I thought I would share which products I’ve decided to take with me. Let’s hope they all work great for my hair in that weather.

For my weekly cleanser I will be bringing my: EDEN All Natural Cleaning CoWash (Purchased from Loux Hair)

As for my daily conditioner I will be using my newest addition: Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Shine Conditioner. This is something new I will be trying out on my vacation, I already love this line of products and have heard great reviews about it. Can’t wait to post mine!

My number one most used product: Shea Moisture Jamaican Castor Oil Leave-In Conditioner

This gel I love to use when doing a slick back or needing some good hold without causing ANY flakes or build up: Max Green Alchemy Sculpting Gel

Lastly my favourite anti-frizz serum: Shea Moisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi Smooth & Repair High Shine Glosser Which I use to part my hair after finger coiling, or just trying to minimize frizz.

I also couldn’t forget about the generic brushes, picks, combs, bobby pins, clips, ties, and accessories.

This should be the perfect amount of products I’ll need and they have been a no fail this whole way.. Hopefully the humidity or salt water doesn’t effect my hair in a negative sense, that would be truly a disappointment – thank goodness for protective styles! So happy and excited of how far my hair has come from the time I’ve cut it to now luckily I’ve been treating it really well and its repaying me with its vibrance and bounciness. Can’t wait to get some pictures up!

To a great week,
