Current Curly Hair Products

To all my curly friends,

I have long awaited trying to find the time to be able to share my current hair routine! Being a mother its hard enough to try and find time to even do my hair let alone write a good enough post to share with all of you. Here’s a quick idea of what I have been using in my hair since the big chop in April, be ready to see lots of updates following this post as I am still finding out what works the best!

I’ll start off by listing all the products that’s being used, mind you that I am NOT using all of these at once. Some of them I use at different times and others I use together.

So here’s a look at the products:

TRESemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner Aloe Vera and Avocado (co-wash)

This is my go to for a co-wash at the moment and it definitely does the job. It smells great and had my hair feeling soft after my shower, everyone I know that uses it loves it as well. Although I am still looking for something else to try that might work better for my hair and will definitely let you know when I do.

Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Leave-In Conditioner

Shea Moisture has came to our rescue with this baby here.. this is basically therapy for my curls. Ever since I decided to grow my hair out more naturally I’ve been using this, and I must say it’s helped my hair in so many ways I can’t even begin to list them all. A few great things about this leave-in conditioner that have stood out to me are the amount of moisture it gives my hair making my locks look amazing, the castor oil has been repairing my ends up making it stronger and more thicker with time, and the best part is the added help with my hair growth. if you don’t already have this, I suggest trying it!

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle

I love using this product when styling my hair after already using my leave-in conditioner. I normally use this when coiling my hair it keeps it locked together and adds such shine a beautiful shine. It has adds great nourishment keeping in all the moisture for our thirsty curls. Not to mention the scent ! 🙂

Shea Moisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi Smooth & Repair High Shine Glosser

This is normally my what I use after coiling and when I start to separate the coils, it maintains my frizz smoothing them out as I part them. Its a great glosser for shine also helps repair damaged hair.

Proclaim Argan Oil Hair Oil Treatment

I started using this about the same time I started using my leave-in conditioner mostly for the reason that it is an oil treatment for your scalp and hair that helps repair and grow hair that is damaged. I normally use this about once a month after I wash my hair and use it alone all over my head and scalp then just leave it in for the night. I make sure to wash it out before I style it, hoping to avoid weighed down hair. Love it.

Proclaim Olive Spray-On Glosser

This glosser spray is only used when I really need it which is normally when I flat iron my hair. But once in a while I use it before I head out to add some extra shine to my curls

These are all basically the products I’ve been trying out for a few months now. I am definitely looking into different and better products all of the time, it definitely takes some effort to get to understand your hair. Challenging at times but I promise the results will be shown in your hair.

Thanks for reading, happy hair !
